    indian broccoli soup

    Hi,
I’ve decided to share a recipe of my favorite soup which is low calorie as well.
Dice broccoli into small pieces and put into boiled water. Cook for fifteen minutes and then take it out. Dice onion, celery and garlic. Fry almonds in a dry pan and slice. Put everything in boiled water and cook for about ten minutes more. When it is cool, blender it. Add a little milk to smashed broccoli and bring to a boil. Serve hot. Enjoy it!

    tasty)))

    Yes, Rakhi,
    What a great idea!
It sounds delicious, and your recipe is great, and low-fat, it is true. but be careful, it contains garlic, it provokes the appetite too much.
So, we eat low-fat soup and even do not notice that after we take a snack couple of times. I always knew that our main enemy in fighting against obesity is what we do eat, not we think what we eat.

    soup

    Hi, Kate,

Really? I never know that garlic stimulates the appetite.
I thought if it is a veg dish, it means it’s harmless

    it is a common mistake
not only garlic but all spicies, seasoning, and sauces as well.
I've read that all models never eat sauces.
    less spicy, lower appetite

    Re: indian broccoli soup

OMG Kate! Are you SURE about the garlic!!!! I use it alot with herbs to give bland diet food a kick. Is herbs included? As well I convert most meals to a curry meal for a change of the usual. What spice/seasoning/herbs DO you recommend? Just salt and pepper?
